  • Colyer v. National Grange Insurance Co., (Superior Court of Pennsylvania), represented plaintiff-appellee Colyer, who had received what was then the largest recovery ever awarded to a plaintiff under Pennsylvania’s insurance bad faith statute. After Bashman briefed and argued the appeal, the Superior Court affirmed.Later, in lieu of further appellate proceedings, the parties reached a mutually agreeable resolution of the dispute.
